Duration, power, and ordering
Shared-format recipes accept duration, power, and order, but their consumers decide how those values are used.
- Custom-machine recipes use
durationin ticks andpowerin HE per processing tick, adjusted by the definition's multipliers. Custom Machines explains the lower bounds and generator behavior. - In the shared generic recipe tables, lower
ordervalues sort first. An omitted value sorts as2147483647; ties sort by internal name. Preserve the original value when replacing a recipe unless you intend to change its precedence. - If several different recipes accept the same inputs, their selection depends on that machine's lookup. Prefer replacing the existing resource ID when the goal is to change an existing recipe.
